Perhaps it has something to do with continuously changing fashions with the same dark and neutral palettes at work that has me overly happy for 2011’s color of the year. The Pantone Color Institute has christened Honeysuckle as the new ‘it’ color for the coming year – a color that blends red and pink. I feel like it’s almost an adult pink – not neon or barbie hot pink, and yet not a soft, girlie pink (something I’m not a avid fan of, except on my nails. And blog background). I’m looking forward to seeing this color pop up in clothes, interior designs, home products, and more. Visa has even come out with an official Honeysuckle Platinum Rewards card, and I could use a bit of color in my wallet next to my silver, red and navy colored cards! B and I will be staying here, at the Don Cesar in St Petersburg for Fourth of July weekend. We are staying for two days while B plays in a charity wiffle ball tournament, and I enjoy the free drinks from the charity event poolside! I’ve never stayed there before, but I do remember see the hotel — who could miss this HUGE mass of bright pink on the beach?? Enjoy your Fourth of July celebrations everyone!
Was so excited I had to post this as soon as I saw it! I have been looking for decently priced ladies golf clubs for a while now, and am beyond happy with these ones – especially because they are what I guess you would call the “fun size” clubs for my height (5’0 – 5’5). I’m not usually a huge fan of pink accessories because I think that’s a little too obvious, but I feel like pink on the golf course is very appropriate. Amazon.com has once again made my day. I already am thinking of golfing attire to go with the pink clubs!
